-  Self-respect is an important part of our identity because it reflects how we view ourselves, which in turn impacts every area of our life, including our relationships, work, and social life. Respecting and loving ourselves is the first step toward gaining the love and respect of others. Everyone expect that their dignity, identity and body is safe and protected from exploitation. This to make sure our self respect is protected. By unknowingly many of them get exploitated without being aware that they are exploited by a known friend, family or acquaintance (a person that you know but who is not a close friend). Exploitation can take many forms including human trafficking, forced labour, sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, debt bondage and domestic servitude.
